FaxZero Review

Background Information

FaxZero is a susidiary brand name of Savetz Publishing, Inc. The company’s headquarters is in Portland, Oregon, and has acquired the ultimate A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.

The company operates a very straightforward service, suitable for people who only engage in a small amount of Internet faxing. If you have Internet access and then FaxZero can be sent up very rapidly and painlessly; there is no awkward set-up process and no credit card requirement.

FaxZero Packages

FaxZero offer very straightforward payment schemes. There are only two packages available to subscribers: Free Fax and Almost Free Fax. Both of these schemes can be accessed from the same landing page, and both enable you fax to anywhere in the United States and Canada. International faxes can also be transmitted, but these incur additional charges.

The Free Fax scheme enables you up to 3 pages, spread over two faxes, each day. The Almost Free Fax option costs $1.99 per fax, for which price you can send up to 15 pages of faxes. In contrast to the Free Fax option, which includes a commercial header promoting FaxZero with your faxes, the Almost Free Fax scheme contains no such advertising. Payment for FaxZero is made via Paypal.

Using FaxZero

To use the FaxZero system, all that is required is to populate all of the fields on their form that are marked with asterisks. You also need to enter your name and email address. The system allows you attach pretty much any major file type, including .doc, .docx and .PDF. You are allowed to attach files up to and including 10Mb in size.

Once you have inputted the requisite information, attached the necessary files, and provided the confirmation code, your fax will be sent automatically. FaxZero makes five attempts to transmit your fax successfully, and delivers a confirmation email to you to inform you whether or not the attempt was successful. It is wise to check junk and spam email folders should you not receive a confirmation email.

The Bottom Line

FaxZero provides a simple, unpretentious system for transmitting a document from your computer or smartphone to virtually any fax number in the world. You simply require Internet access.

However, FaxZero is certainly costly if you don’t wish to have advertisements on your fax header. Considering it costs $1.99 for 15 pages, it will set you back over 13 cents per page. Of course, this makes FaxZero a redundant option for those who wish to send a lot of pages, as online fax providers who offer bulk services tend to charge in the region of 1 cent per page.
